These talented students worked tirelessly for over 14 hours across two days to build structures that will be donated, sold, and used within their communities. An impressive 500+ votes were cast for this year’s Houston Design Build Competition People’s Choice Award and Nacogdoches High School was selected as the People’s Choice winner! Various schools received awards for their outstanding performances in different competitions. Grand Oaks High School, Medina Valley High School, Texas Industrial Trades Center, and Bryan High School were among the winners, recognized for their craftsmanship, safety protocols, architectural designs, and overall excellence. Additionally, three deserving seniors received a total of $5,000 in scholarships to support their future endeavors. What an incredible display of talent, hard work, and dedication from these high school students! Congratulations to all the winners and participants!
