Ambassador Al Otaiba: Iran Crisis Strengthening UAE-US Partnership

Writing in the Wall Street Journal, UAE Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba calls for a conclusive outcome to the conflict with Iran and reaffirms the nation’s partnership with the United States.

Despite being targeted by more than 2,180 Iranian missiles and drones—more than any other country—the UAE is accelerating its economic ties with the US. The $1.4 trillion investment commitment is on track, creating jobs in AI, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy and critical infrastructure.

"Real alliances are built on cooperation and contribution, not dependency," Ambassador Al Otaiba writes. "The stronger our economic ties to the United States, the stronger both nations become—and the clearer our message to those who seek to destabilize the region."
