Saturday Edition
Good morning and welcome to another stellar Saturday! We have tons of stuff to get into today so make yourself comfortable, maybe alongside a nice relaxing tea and a couple of bikkies... the Arnotts variety we hope đ
To start things off let's dig into the answer for yesterdayâs riddle!
If fortune had a daughter what would her name be?
The answer of course is Misfortune (Miss Fortune)! Now when this riddle was sent in by our wonderful member Elbe, we thought it might throw a few of you off, and that we would end up with quite a few different answers. Boy oh boy how wrong we were, as the majority of you nailed it once again. As a result, that large majority have earned themselves a shoutout. Check it out down below!
Now, on to one of our favourite segments of the week; âWhat Would the Grandkids Say?â. Today we take a look at the term âvibe checkâ. A âvibe checkâ refers to how someone is acting or feeling. For example, if someone you know is acting a bit off, then you could say that they didnât pass the vibe check. Make sense? However if someone is being cheery, polite and kind, it sounds like they have absolutely passed the vibe check. So next time your grandkids are being cheeky or having a tantrum, let them know that they aren't passing the vibe check. They may just change their tone!
Now then, whatâs happening in Australia and across the world today?
-
The âneighbour from hellâ and the way he is trapping the people next door inside their own home.
-
Prince William shows his soft side, comforting a young boy who had also lost his mother. âIt gets easierâŚâ
-
One couple reveal how they were scammed out of $1.1 million whilst trying to buy their dream home.
-
Ok members, we would like you to take a look at this sandwich. Look strange to you? Well itâs been dubbed the âmost delicious lunch everâ, despite missing a key ingredient.
-
Now that youâre feeling hungry, how about trying out this hack for the perfect toastie. Did we mention itâs also healthier?
-
In response to Channel 7âs video leak gone viral, reporter Michael Usher has shared his own hilarious on-air slip up.
-
Over on Channel 9, Karl Stefanovic and Nick Kyrgios show off their bromantic relationship, after Karl makes a strange and âsickâ comment.
-
The snack scientists over at Arnottâs have done it again, announcing and releasing their latest invention and flavourâŚyum!
-
Want to bring your living room decorations into the year 3000 without breaking the bank? Well IKEA may have just the thingâŚ
-
Do you find replacing your bin bag to be a pain? Does it always slip or fill with air? Well worry not, as we have the perfect hack for you!
And thatâs a wrap of the news for today! However, as you know, we have plenty more in store, including a joke by Dennis R. It's so good, he missed 25 minutes of the cricket writing it up! We appreciate the sacrifice Dennis!
Stay safe everyone, enjoy your Saturday and happy reading!

Many of us turn to salad bowls to get our daily dose of leafy greens. However, they never quite leave us feeling full. On the other hand, Toasties definitely provide us with the fullness we need. But, they sometimes leave us with the tiny bit of worry that, while we do indeed feel full, it wasn't exactly the healthiest or more nutritious choice of meal. The solution? This delicious cheese toastie loaded with healthy greens as shared by a Melbourne foodie. Ashley Alexander, also known as Gather and Feast online, shared a video of how she makes her green-filled cheese toastie, and fans can't get enough of it. This group of people went to a restaurant, and one noticed their waiter had a spoon in his shirt pocket. Glancing around the room, they noticed that all the waiters had spoons in their top pockets.
Out of curiosity, they asked the reason for it, and the water said the owner of the company had called upon someone to help them save time and make more money.

A perfect game is the highest score possible in a bowling game, achieved by scoring a strike in every frame. In bowling games that use ten pins, such as ten-pin bowling, candlepin bowling, and duckpin bowling, the highest possible score is 300, achieved by bowling 12 strikes in a row in a traditional single game: one strike in each of the first nine frames, and three more in the tenth frame.
