Sunday Edition
Happy Sunday lovely Members! We hope you’re all enjoying your weekend and have been getting up to some fun and relaxing things. We’ve been keeping busy here at the SDC HQ, getting a few new things ready for you lot, so make sure you keep an eye out for some new additions in the coming weeks…
In the meantime, let’s take a look at this week’s quote shall we?
“Keep your face always toward the sunshine—and shadows will fall behind you.”
This is such a powerful quote by Walt Whitman! And one that is so relevant in today’s society. We are constantly being bombarded with images and messages of what we ‘should’ have, and it can be so easy to compare our lives to others and feel like we are falling a little short. But you know what? The only person you need to compare yourself to is the person you were yesterday. As long as you are constantly striving to be better than you were, you are on the right track! So keep your face towards that sunshine members, and you’ll quickly realise that stuff in the shadows doesn’t matter at all.
Now, let’s get stuck into some news. What happened across Australia and around the world this week?
