No images? Click here We need your input! In preparation for the upcoming legislative session, Zero to Five Montana is asking for your input on our Montana Early Childhood Policy Agenda Survey. We aim to determine 3-5 policy areas to set the course for topics to engage on during the 2023 Montana Legislative Session. Although this is entirely optional, we hope you will provide input on the policy areas you believe are most needed at the state level related to early childhood, with the goal of working together to align and coordinate on the issues most pressing to our families, communities, and employers. Please click here to take the survey by EOD Friday, Aug. 26, 2022. Survey answers will remain confidential, and responses will only be used by our staff to inform our policy agenda. The survey includes a few questions, including ranking and prioritizing issues, and should take 10 minutes or less to complete. Zero to Five Montana receives $5 million to Zero to Five Montana is developing new programs and initiatives to help support and strengthen Montana's child care business landscape with the support of $5 million in funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), granted through a Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services competitive process. “Access to affordable child care continues to be a challenge for many families across Montana and has a direct impact on our state and local economies. As an early childhood policy organization dedicated to systems-change, we are thrilled for the opportunity to support child care capacity growth and innovation by focusing on individual businesses and communities. What we learn from community leaders and employers over the next couple of years will help shape future policy directions,” said Caitlin Jensen, Zero to Five Montana executive director.
