AGYW practitioners will benefit from the new Sycona initiative The SSLN will be offering an additional layer of support to strengthen AGYW HIV prevention programming through the Sycona initiative. Sycona aims to synthesise, contextualise and disseminate selected HIV prevention evidence required by key stakeholders to update policy, guidelines and practices for improved AGYW programming between 2021 - 2023. With the SSLN, the Sycona team will use PSAT results and guidance from Country Champions to generate a list of prioritised questions related to the largest perceived gaps in evidence that have the highest potential impact on HIV risk reduction. They will also undertake a series of rapid reviews to collate available peer-reviewed and grey literature on the prioritised questions, with a regional (SSA) perspective. The evidence will be synthesised into user-friendly knowledge products - disseminated through the SSLN. Participating countries are Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
