NEWS UPDATE16 February 2024 Publishers noteThis week has been an interesting one for news. Firstly, congratulations to my friend and colleague Tim Simpson who was this week awarded the ‘Chester H. Wolfe Sportsmanship Award’ from the International Game Fish Association (IGFA). I loved what they had to say about Tim, and what I’d like to add is what they didn’t say, and that is that Tim is a true gentleman and champion. I had the honor of meeting Tim for the first time in 1992, and from that time until my last boat show in 2019, I had the pleasure of working with him each year. Congratulations Tim – you are deserving of any and every award you receive. Next weekend, on February 24th and 25th, is a big weekend for sports.
