Tuesday Edition
My oh my members, it’s good to be back in the office after a lovely long weekend. We won’t lie to you, we definitely over indulged in Hot Cross Buns, chocolate and various other foods and you know what one of the hardest things is after over-indulging yourself all Easter long weekend? All the good stuff goes on sale today, so you can score everything you ate and more at bargain prices. Looks like we are going to be over-indulging a little more for the rest of the week… Be sure to head to your local Coles, Woolies, Aldi, or IGA to cash in on these sales!
Now we know what you’re all waiting for, apart from Easter sales of course, and that is the answer to yesterday’s riddle! For those who need a refresher, the riddle goes…
Professor Puzla says "My expensive laboratory staff have perfected a way of arranging seven matches on a table so that they make 20 and one-third of a dozen. Of course, they neither break nor bend the matches." How is this possible?
It was a real tough one, wasn’t it? Or at least we thought so anyway! It seems a fair few of you didn’t have any problems solving it though because so many of you managed to figure out the correct answer, which was that the matches were arranged into Roman Numerals, or XXIV, which is the number 24, or 20 and one third of a dozen! There’s just no way we would have gotten this riddle correct, but you know, we aren’t the riddle masters you lot are. So, scroll down to the bottom of this newsletter for your very well deserved shout out!
