Saturday Edition
Good morning members, and happy Saturday! We couldn't be more excited to be in your inbox this morning. Saturdays are always a special kind of day around here. It's the day for relaxation and relaxation only! That's right, a whole day dedicated to kicking back, taking it easy, and letting go of the stresses of everyday life. Whether you're planning to spend the day lounging in your favourite chair, taking a leisurely walk in nature, or simply enjoying a nice cuppa, make sure you take some time for yourself and relax.
I (Vella) plan to go jogging this morning before cleaning my room and doing other 'therapeutic' tasks. Please tell me I am not the only one who finds doing the laundry relaxing and peaceful. It gives me time to just be in my thoughts. Sometimes, I watch a movie or my favourite TV show while folding clothes. It is like hitting two birds with one stone, relaxing while also being productive!
Anyhow, that's enough about me; let's get straight into the day's activities. First up, the answer to yesterday's riddle! So what was the riddle again?
Monica participated in a furiously competitive race, which she won due to her speed and agility. Despite this, she was not allowed to collect the winning trophy. Why?
Did you get it? Monica wasn't allowed to collect the winning trophy because she was a horse! We also accepted those who answered that Monica was a dog since dogs can also race competitively! That is one clever riddle! Hats off to those of you who got it correct. Make sure to head further down the newsletter for a special shout-out just for you!
Now, onto our next segment for the day, 'What Would the Grandkids Say'. Today, we are taking a look at the term 'lituation'. This term is a combination of the words 'lit' and 'situation', and it's used to describe a cool or exciting situation. For example, if someone is at a concert and they're having an amazing time, they might say that the concert is a 'lituation'. Try using this term when you're with the grandkids, and let us know how they react.

Today's 'Yesterday's Australia' segment is thanks to @Elisa and their wonderful memory of her days in Luna Park. 'I miss Luna Park the way it was when I was a child, some 60 years ago. Living in the bush, it was great excitement to go to "Sydney". We would catch a ferry that travelled under the Harbour Bridge to that wonderfully magical place filled with fairy lights and music. The Merry-go-Round with my favourite horses was such a joy to ride. Also, the spinning tea cups and bumper cars were so exciting. We would end up at night, riding
the Ferris Wheel to say goodbye until the next year. It was so, so special to me.'
Oh my goodness! Sydney's most iconic amusement park, Luna Park! You can almost imagine the colourful lights, the thrill of the rides, and the smell of popcorn filling the air. Thank you, @Elisa, for sharing these happy memories with us.

One Saturday morning, the rabbi noticed little David staring up at the large plaque that hung in the synagogue's foyer.
The seven-year-old had been staring at the plaque for some time and finally asked the rabbi, ‘Rabbi, what is this?’
Oooh, this one is hilarious and adorable at the same time! Thank you, member @m0i0z, for the laugh! Check out the rest of the joke here.
