COLLECTIVE IMPACT Collective Impact Workshop #2 - “The Rubber Hits the Road” The second of four collective impact workshops as a part of the Restoration Impact Framework project was held on Wednesday 6th March at The Hub, Bentley Technology Park. The twenty-seven invitees from diverse key stakeholder groups participated in discussions facilitated by Impact Seed and Perth NRM. The workshop included;
The Restoration Impact Framework project is funded by Lotterywest and Commonland with collective impact workshops delivered by Impact Seed and coordinated by Perth NRM. CARING FOR NOONGAR BOODJA Working on Country Enthusiastic students from Fremantle College have been participating in the “Caring for Noongar Boodja” project. Cultural learning activities at school and Caring for Country at Dwerda Weelardinup (Cantonment Hill) has given them a chance to learn by doing. The project brings together Noongar knowledge holders, schools and community to promote stewardship of our natural areas. It is funded by the Western Australian Government’s State NRM Program. CITIZEN SCIENCE ‘Turning Gardeners into Conservationists’ Community Report out now After 18-months and over 15,000 wildlife surveys completed by more than 240 citizen scientists across southwest Australia, final results from the Turning Gardeners into Conservationists project are in! Download a copy of the Community Report to discover how wildlife-friendly gardening can benefit both biodiversity and human wellbeing. The ‘Turning Gardeners into Conservationists’ project was proudly delivered by UWA Albany and Perth NRM, through funding from the Australian Government’s Inspiring Australia Science Engagement Programme.
