Australian Junior Beach Volleyball ChampionshipsOn 26th & 27th January, Lyneham Beach Facility will play host to the first round of the Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Championships. Come down and support ACT's best U19 & U21 athletes as they battle it out. Entry is free. Our Youth (U14 - U18) teams will compete at the Australia Youth Volleyball Championships in Bendigo from 18th - 22nd September. Our Junior (U19 & U23) teams will compete at the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships in Sydney from 7th - 9th July. To express your interest, please click HERE. AVSC is the largest sport participation event in the country with over 130 schools and 3500 participants. Three ACT schools, Lake Ginninderra College, Merici College and Brindabella Christian College, travelled up to Queensland to take part. Lake Ginninderra took out top spot in the Open Honours Division after defeating South Australian volleyball powerhouse, Brighton Secondary School. Congratulations to all involved! |
