In 2002, Steven Bradbury clinched Australia’s very first Winter Olympic gold—and it's quite the story! Dubbed ‘the accidental hero’, all his competitors ended up crashing and tumbling, giving him a clear path to the finish line. Despite the initial whirlwind of emotions, Bradbury eventually saw that gold medal as a well-deserved payoff for the twelve tough years he put in. 🏅 It’s amazing how things work out sometimes!
