Tuesday Edition
Good morning, members, and welcome to another wonderful Tuesday! How are we all feeling today? It’s rainy here at the SDC HQ, so we’re in the mood for a hot cuppa and a couple of bickies. I (Vella) love to listen to some slow jams when it’s raining. ‘Yellow’ by Coldplay always does the trick for me, sometimes it's ‘Purple Rain’ by Prince, but that's only when I'm feeling extra saucy. What do you like to listen to when it’s raining? Feel free to share some music recommendations in our forum here. I bet you have some great
tunes to share!
Anyways, enough about my taste in music. Let’s get into today’s newsletter! We have a lot of goodies lined up for you, so without further ado, let’s jump in.
First up, let’s give you the answer to yesterday’s riddle!
I am what I am but not what I follow, because if I were what I follow I would not be what I am. What am I?
The answer is... a shepherd! Why? A shepherd is someone who leads a flock of sheep, but he is not a sheep himself. Shadow works too! Did you get it? If you did, pat yourself on the back because that was a toughie! Then head on down to the bottom of this email for your shoutout!
Now then, what’s happening in Australia and around the world today?

Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment is thanks to Robyn D Graham, who shared a lovely memory of family bonding back in the day. ‘One of my many nostalgic memories of my childhood is the long drive into town from the farm and going to the pictures. We had enough money for ice cream and our ticket. After watching the film, and Mum and Dad had finished the shopping, we would go to the park for a picnic lunch that Mum had pre-packed. I loved those carefree days.’
Aww, this is such a sweet memory! Family days like this are truly priceless. It’s a reminder that sometimes the best memories are made by doing things that don’t cost much at all. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely memory with us, Robyn.
