It’s been a very exciting week in WA the Dream State, with the World Travel & Tourism Council Global Summit being held in Perth/Boorloo over three dynamic days. This prestigious global event has brought together more than 800 international leaders in government, tourism and trade, alongside investors and media to explore aviation and infrastructure investment opportunities in WA while discussing global tourism topics. Hosted at Crown Perth, the Summit offered a once-in-a-lifetime platform for WA to demonstrate its economic ambition and showcase
WA’s thriving tourism industry to WTTC members, which included business leaders from some of the world’s biggest tourism companies. There have been many event highlights and valuable learnings shared over the past few days, including Tourism WA Chair Di Bain joining an insightful panel discussion about the future of WA’s high-performing tourism workforce. During the event, Tourism WA also facilitated several occasions for investors to discover more about the Dream State and the variety of investment opportunities available. Approximately 15 familiarisation tours are also being held for global media before and after the event across WA, driving bookings and exposure for 50 of our dedicated and passionate tourism industry operators. From exploring the untamed Kimberley region, to Australia’s Coral Coast, the famous white beaches of Australia’s Golden Outback and down to the renowned Margaret River Region, Summit delegates are being offered a guided glimpse of what makes WA truly incredible. The excitement doesn’t stop there though, as we move straight on to preparing to host G’Day Australia in partnership with Tourism Australia next week. This key trade event is an opportunity for Aussie Specialist Agents to learn more about Western Australia to
successfully sell the destination and tourism offerings to their clients. We look forward to seeing great opportunities arise from this important event. Warm regards,
