A big thanks to all those who joined us at the Tourism Industry Networking Event in Macksville on the 12th February.
It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and make new connections. Glenn from NPWS provided a comprehensive update on the Great Koala National Park and what it means for local operators and business owners. Jan provided an update on the Destination Branding project and next steps.
You spoke, and we listened.
The ATDW is an industry built resource that connects your business with high visibility platforms such as Visit NSW.
The single fastest way to gain exposure for your tourism business is to have it listed on the ATDW, but setting up a profile is not entirely straightforward. So we're hosting a practical workshop to guide you step by step through setting up or improving your ATDW listing. The workshop will be held in early April (date TBA). Register your interest below.
Want professional photos of your business?
We are hiring a professional local photographer to of local businesses and tourism operators in March. All you need to do is register your interest via the EOI form below and attend our ATDW workshop. All qualifying businesses will be added to the schedule for photography.
Why is all of this important?
When the Destination Branding project wraps up in a few months, we will immediately begin the process of designing a tourism website for the Nambucca Valley. This website will become a central resource for visitors and locals to acccess information about venues, events, activities and updates - and all of the data will be drawn from the
ATDW. To ensure that your business is a part of this process, you'll need to set up an ATDW profile - so why not do it with us, and get some fresh new photos to use for it?
Every quarter we take our team of volunteers on a tour around the region to familiarise them with local businesses and tourism operators. We are planning another famil day for March/April. Date TBC. Can we visit you?
