Friday Edition
Good morning members, and welcome to the end of another wonderful week! Can you believe it? It seems to come so fast, almost too fast if you ask me! But I (Vella) am not complaining. I know that means we're one day closer to the weekend, and I am looking forward to a lovely and relaxing one. By relaxing, I mean catching up on everything I haven't had time for during the week like laundry, grocery shopping, and organising my wardrobe. I know it doesn't sound very relaxing, but these are therapeutic activities for me that equal relaxation. Of course, I'll be sleeping in, which is the best part! How about you, members? What are your plans for the weekend?
But before we get to our weekend plans, we still have today's newsletter to get through! So, let's get started, shall we?
First up, we have the third and final riddle of the week.

For today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment, we have a fond childhood memory from member @Loisanne. ‘We lived near a golf course, and we’d sneak in and play in the little pockets of old-growth forest on the weekends. We’d climb those massive pine trees to the top and enjoy the spectacular views over our suburb, and back on the ground, we’d look for the developing tadpoles in the little ponds. Always watching out for the “Greenie” made our afternoons exploring nature more exciting! The security fences are too high to scale nowadays. I’ve
met children who have never climbed a tree!’
Wow, @Loisanne, what wonderful childhood memories! It’s a reminder of how kids can find so much joy when exploring nature. Sadly, many children today may never have the chance to climb trees and experience that same sense of freedom and discovery that you did. Thank you for sharing this nostalgic trip down memory lane!
