Want to hear from us only once a week? Click here to get the Sunday only send.
Hey there, SDC community! It’s me again, Jarred, dropping by for a quick Sunday morning chat. Can you believe it's the end of another week already? It's so important to take a break and recharge our batteries every now and then, and Sundays are perfect for that. It's a day to slow down, appreciate the little things in life, and get ready for whatever comes our way. So, take a deep breath, relax and let's prepare to make the most out of the week ahead — starting with today’s newsletter!
For our usual Sunday quote, we have something sent in by member Paul P.:
‘You don't always get what you deserve in life, but you get what you're willing to put up with!’
Not too shabby, eh? Success isn't always easy — most often, to get what we think we deserve requires hard work, dedication, and sheer will. But that doesn't mean quitting isn't sometimes the best option. You're in control of your own decisions, and there's honour and dignity in making the one that works best for you. So don't be afraid to put up with life's challenges or to cut your losses if you need to!
Now, let’s look at what happened across Australia and around the world this week:
