ENAS FITNESS EXPERIENCE
in partnership with Middlesex University London!

We are proud to announce the launch of the first ENAS Experience event since 2019! A training and development event for Fitness professionals, working in the University sector. Suitable for Instructors, gym managers and those overseeing the running of Fitness facilities. A summer event in London, taking place at West Stand, StoneX Stadium - home to the London Sport Institute at Middlesex University, and Saracens Rugby Club.

Call for hosting of the ENAS Forum 2024

We are currently looking for an ENAS member to host our annual forum in the year 2024. If you are interested in hosting our annual Forum or want to know more about the hosting process, please get in touch with us via offier@enas-sport.net . Deadline to present the application: 31 May 2023

ENAS Executive Meeting in Munster (Germany) 1-3 March 2023

The ENAS Executive Committee Members met in Münster (Germany) for the first meeting of the year 2023. The meeting was devoted to discuss  the organization of the ENAS Activities, including the ENAS Forum 2023, the ENAS Benchmarking and other events.
Special thanks to Hochschulsport Münster for hosting us, in particular to Jan-Philipp Müller & Jörg Verhoeven for the great time we spent together! Danke schön!

ENAS National Representative Meeting

Last week, our National Representative Committee met virtually for its monthly meeting. Our National Representatives had the chance to exchange some views on the most recent development on university sports in their own country and plan the dissemination of some ENAS activities within their national network.

ENAS at the Sport4Impact Forum

We are glad to announce that our president Mel Parker will be a speaker at the  Sport4Impact Forum, an event organised by our associate member IIISSS. The meeting will focus on the role of finance and private sectors to design and scale up policies and programs for driving social change through sports and it is organised with the support of UNESCO. Erasmus+ Call 2023: 3 Applications submitted by ENAS

Erasmus+ Sports call is always an excellent opportunity for us to engage with our European universities and provide more benefits to ENAS members. This year, we are proud to announce that the cooperation with our members resulted in the submission of three different projects:

UNIMIX: a small collaborative partnership led by ENAS with the involvement of various ENAS members in Spain, Netherlands, Greece and Germany on the topic of mixed-sex university sports activities.

BOUST: a large collaborative partnership led by ENAS and in partnership with the University of Trento (Italy) and IIISSS (Italy) on developing the coaching skills through universities in Europe and Western Balkans.

DROP-OUT: a large collaborative partnership led by the University of Porto (Portugal) and in cooperation with FISU on students’ sports drop out during the transition to university.

We expect the results to be announced in late summer. So do keep the finger crossed for us!

The University of Antwerp is hosting the 24th PCU Committee University Games from 26 to 28 April 2023 in Antwerp (Belgium). This event brings together student sports teams from across Europe to take part in various tournaments! Good luck to the ENAS Belgian National representative Nils Van de Velden and his team!

Staff Training Week in Sestriere (Italy)

The University of Aachen hosted a European University Sports Staff Training Week in Sestriere (Italy). The meeting was a great opportunity to combine sports activities with high-level networking! Thank you to Peter Lynen and all the participants!
