Offerings in the HimalayasMera and Island PeakA perfect entrance not only to climbing in the Himalayas, but an immersion into the culture of the Sherpa people. Our Mera Peak expedition begins with a trek through one of the more remote valleys of the region before we rise up to 21,247 feet and stand among other Himalayan giants. Our Island Peak climb follows the trail to Everest Basecamp before we break off from the trekkers and attempt Island Peak (20,305 feet) right in the shadow of Everest. Both climbs are excellent for the strong advanced beginner climber. ManasluFall Himalayan climbing returns as guide extraordinaire, Ben Jones, leads our team on an ascent of the world's 8th highest mountain at 26,781 feet. Manaslu, one of the 14 8,000 meter peaks, is a moderate technical climb and open to all climbers with appropriate experience. It's an excellent follow up to climbs like Denali, and a great move into Himalayan climbing. EverestOur 2022 Everest climb is scheduled to begin in April.
