AP4D Dialogue

How could Australia institutionalise an integrated approach to foreign policy? This interactive AP4D dialogue explores what 'using all tools of statecraft' looks like in practice, focusing on existing coordination mechanisms, other countries' experiences and overcoming barriers.

We want to hear from those with experience working both inside and outside government across the full gamut of international policy: foreign policy, trade and investment and economic diplomacy; development and multilateral policy; and defence and security policy and operations. This dialogue will inform the first options paper in Stage II of the Australian Civil-Military Centre-funded Shaping a Shared Future program.
