Monday Edition
A very happy Monday morning to you all! It’s our last Monday in the office for 2022 and we cannot quite believe it. This year has absolutely flown by and we have had such an incredible year! We have loved bringing this newsletter to you every day and we cannot thank you all enough for your ongoing support. We want to make sure our last official week together as a team is the greatest week of the year! So we hope we bring that extra energy into every newsletter this week and go out with a bang!
Speaking of going out with a bang, we have our last Monday riddle of the year. This riddle is actually brought to you by my (Maddie’s) local pub trivia…
If December 31st is the end of the year, then what is the end of Christmas?
I am very proud to say that I got this riddle answer correct, so if I got it correct, I feel like all of you riddle masters can! If you think you know the answer to this riddle, post it on our forum here. If you get it correct, you might not get a ‘point’ for your trivia team like I did, but you will get a shout-out in our newsletter tomorrow! Which I’d argue is better 😉
That’s enough from me! What’s happening across the world and around Australia today?

Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment is brought to you by member @Iggydi. It was posted as an entry in our Christmas competition. Here’s what member @Iggydi wrote, ‘My favourite Christmas memory is Dad was home. (He worked on the oil tankers as a cook and usually we didn't see him until Boxing Day if they were in port or many months when he went overseas). We were a family of 6 kids, I am 4th in line and the youngest brother was about 3 years old. Well, this particular Christmas, Mum and Dad bought a swing set for us kids. They spent Christmas Eve putting this swing set together and at 4 am my brother is on the swing set, swinging away and singing his favourite
song Puff the Magic Dragon. I don't think Mum and Dad got more than a couple of hours of sleep. AAH the joys of Parenthood.’
Oh, this made me laugh so much! I read this out to April when we were in the office and we were both in stitches. Fancy spending all day and night building a swing set for your kid to be swinging on it at 4 am! My goodness, the things parents do for their children! Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous memory with us, @Iggydi.

A dog walks into a butcher shop with a purse strapped around his neck. He walks up to the meat case and calmly sits there until it's his turn to be waited on.
A man, who was already in the butcher shop, finished his purchase and noticed the dog. The butcher leaned over the counter and asked the dog what it wanted today.
