Monday Edition
Good morning, folks! And happy Monday! How was your weekend? Did you get the rest you needed (and deserved) or did you have a jam-packed weekend? Either way, we hope it was lovely! Maybe you’d like to add one thing you were grateful for over the weekend to our ‘grateful’ thread? I know I (Maddie) have loved reading this thread and seeing what you’re all grateful for. It’s been such a nice way to start my days. So to those who have shared the things they are grateful for, thank you. Today I am honestly just grateful for this
wonderful community. I’m so glad we started this, and I hope you’re loving being a part of it as much as I am. Now enough from me, I know you lot want the first riddle of the week, so here it goes!

Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment is brought to you by member @OperaticZeus. They shared this on our forum, ‘Christmas holidays in the 50’s and 60’s were in a small town called Sofala and on New Year’s Day the owner of the only store would collect all the kids in a cattle truck, parents came too in the truck or followed in their cars and we would all go to a spot on the river and the day was spent playing cricket, swimming, eating, snoozing and just being kids. He had great big canvas sacks with dry ice and the best treat was ice cream in the afternoon. It was the best of times.’
This sounds like such a wonderful day, @OperaticZeus! Wouldn’t you just love to relive this? Thank you so much for sharing this with us all!

The Bearded Desert Dragon in a pose…
How cool is this photo captured by the very talented member @Algieboy! I have never seen a bearded desert dragon in my life, and now that I’ve seen one so up close I am in absolute awe! How incredible is its scaly skin? And it’s claws! I also love the colour of it, it's such a beautiful red, orange and yellow mix. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all, @Algieboy!

A plane develops an engine fault with five passengers on board: Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, Angela Merkel, The Pope and a schoolboy aged ten. The plane is about to crash but there are only four parachutes.
Trump says, ‘I need one. I’m the smartest man in the USA and am needed to sort out the problems of the World!’ He grabs one and jumps.
Boris says, ‘I’m needed to sort out Britain.’ He takes another and jumps.
