WDN Community Catch UpsIt was great to see everyone at our first ever series of Whittlesea Disability Network Community Catch Ups, held across the municipality in March and April. These community-based meetings are designed to create a more informal, small-scale space for members to get together, connect with Council and each other and share information. More than 50 people attended the four catch ups held in Thomastown, South Morang, Doreen and Whittlesea. Nearly half the participants were new to WDN and have become members! We had great conversations and a summary of the issues we discussed will be provided at our next WDN community meeting in June.
