Much has happened since the medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas composed these words, but I was still placing my trip in the hands of the captain of my ship of the sky this week as I headed to Sydney for NatCon, the AMA National Conference (no doubt they knew a thing or two about luggage overboard in his day too).

WA Doctors' Orchestra 2022 Concert
Proceeds to Breast Cancer Care WA

Formed in 2006, the WA Doctors' Orchestra (WADO) is comprised of doctors and medical students who are also classically trained musicians.Every two years the musicians come together and rehearse a classical repertoire under the guidance of professional conductor Mark Coughlan to hold a concert.

 

This year, WADO will perform their 10th biennial concert on Sunday 21 August at the St Hilda’s Anglican School Performing Arts Centre, with the highlight of the concert being the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto performed by second year UWA medical student Emily Leung.
