LIZ CASE ANNOUNCES RUN FOR HOUSE DISTRICT 71
Kathaleen Wall Spearheading Case Finance Team

TUSCOLA, TEXAS - Today, Liz Case, descendant of Texas legend William Barrett Travis, former teacher, rancher, and lifelong conservative Republican activist, formally announced her campaign to represent House District 71 (HD 71).

HD 71 is comprised of Callahan, Jones, Nolan, and Taylor counties.

"For years, I have watched as Stan Lambert talked like a conservative while home in the district, but voted like a Democrat when he was in Austin," remarked Case. "While Stan may be a nice man, the battleground is clear: the Texas our children and grandchildren will inherit is on the line.

"I can no longer standby and allow my representative to aid and abed the Democrats' dangerous and failed vision for Texas."

According to research done by Professor Mark Jones of Rice University, Lambert is amongst the chamber's most liberal Republicans, scoring in the bottom 20% of all Republicans.

An analysis of Lambert's voting record shows he has the most difference in how he votes with the chamber's most conservative Republicans and has fewer difference with Democrats as a whole than he does with Republicans.

"Last week, Stan Lambert joined the entire Democrat caucus to defeat parental empowerment and choice legislation championed by Governor Greg Abbott, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, and the vast majority of his own party," continued Case. "It's beyond clear that Stan Lambert does not share the conservative values of the people of House District 71.

"I do...I'm running to give voters a choice. This is my line in the sand," concluded Case.

Kathaleen Wall, a long-time friend and fellow conservative warrior, has agreed to serve as Case's Finance Chairman, spearheading an effort to ensure that the campaign will have the resources necessary to unseat Lambert.

Liz Case currently serves as the Vice President of Legislation and Programs for the Abilene Republican Women as well as the Head of Programs for the Taylor County Republican Party and Vice President of Programs of Big County Country Conservative Coalition.
