Letter from the Executive Director
The first quarter of the year was a celebratory one for Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. We held our first Happy Perkins Society Breakfast since 2020 and enjoyed a wonderful meal hosted by Jim Kerr and Southern Company in gratitude for our top donors. Happy Perkins, the society’s namesake, was in attendance, and Grace Fricks, President and CEO of Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs, shared the impact of PBPA on her organization. You can see photos from the event and information about becoming a member of the society here.
Later in March, we held our annual thank you event in appreciation of all of our volunteers and donors who make our work possible. We gathered 150 of our supporters at Alston & Bird’s lovely event space to celebrate the impact PBPA had in 2022 and to thank our generous volunteers and donors. We also recognized several awardees (please see the full list below), whose contributions and dedication went above and beyond in their support of PBPA. It was an inspiring evening, and we are grateful to all who were able to attend and make it such a special event. If you’d like to attend this invitation-only event next year, keep in mind that we invite our volunteers and donors from the prior year! A huge thank you to our sponsors who made this event possible. Thank you for your ongoing support of Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta.

Thank you so much for your pro-bono legal support for Quaker Voluntary Service! It is a huge weight off my shoulders to know that we can work with thoughtful and enthusiastic folks like you in the legal world. I'm grateful that we have our trademarks extended, and very glad that you were able to take care of so much of the process! It was a pleasure working with you, and I'm appreciative that you volunteer your time with Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. From: Camp Horizon
