Good morning

G’day folks! How is everyone doing this fine Tuesday morning? If you’ve been a part of the SDC community for a little while, then you’ll know Tuesdays are one of our favourite days of the week because it’s the one day we dive straight into the swing of things, so no mucking around eh?

First things first, let’s reveal the answer to yesterday’s riddle. For those of you who don’t remember it, the riddle goes:

The day before yesterday I was 17 years old. But next year I will be 20 years old. How is this possible?

It was a tough riddle to start the week off with, wasn’t it? A big thanks to member Mary F. for sharing it with us. The answer is… The day before yesterday was December 30 when this person was 17. On December 31 they turned 18. So today is January 1. Meaning, this coming December they will be 19, but next year they will be 20! If you managed to get the answer to this riddle correct then my goodness, you deserve a shout out - we had to read the answer a few times over just to understand it. A number of you answered 'because they were born on a leap year'. While this was technically not the correct answer, we're impressed with the creativity so we're giving you a mention too! So scroll on down to the bottom of this newsletter to discover a shoutout with your name on it 😉
