at our 38th Birthday Bash!
Join us this summer at our next Expectant & New Parents Family Gathering on August 6th!
This is an opportunity for new parents and extended family members (prenatal – 2 years old) to connect with others, who have a young child with Down syndrome. Meet other parents at different stages of the journey, while getting connected with the services and supports that we provide at every age and stage throughout the lifespan. This is a great opportunity to have your questions answered and to
exchange resources with other parents.
There will be an opportunity to explore our Lifelong Learning Campus and to participate in a facilitated discussion with other families.
Breakfast and childcare are provided, so please RSVP so we have adequate accommodations!
Due to the generous support of our donors, these events are complimentary / free for our families.
Down Syndrome Innovations has a team of licensed therapists to support the lifespan journey of your little one!
In fact, our Pathways team includes an occupational therapist (OT), a speech-language pathologist (SLP), and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
We have complimentary "Caregiver Consultations," if you have questions or concerns about your baby's development.

Growing and Learning to Better Serve Your Family!
Recently, staff from the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI) trained our Lifespan Service Team about visual challenges experienced by people with Down syndrome.
“Visual challenges are common with people with Down syndrome, so we encourage families to access a functional visual evaluations for their little one," explains Sarah Mai, OTR/L, Vice President of Lifespan Services at Down Syndrome Innovations. "The Down Syndrome Innovations’ Lifespan Service Team, in collaboration with CCVI, can assist with strategies to support any visual challenges discovered in the assessment process."
