Monday Edition
Gooooood Morning members! And a big, happy Monday to you all. We love our Monday’s because not only is it a start to yet another week, it means we get to challenge you lot with another riddle and honestly, we’d be lying if we said our riddles weren’t the highlight of our week, every week…
So let’s kick off with the riddle then, shall we? Here’s hoping we stump you all with this one. A big thanks to member Suzi H. for sharing this one with us!
What is in centuries, seasons, minutes, seconds but not in decades, years or days?
I’m feeling a little generous this morning, it might be my morning coffee getting the better of me but I’ll give you one hint: My guess was humans (don’t laugh at me, I obviously now see that we also exist in decades, years AND days, but I’m not a riddle master and I have never claimed to be) so maybe cross that potential “answer” off your list. Hopefully you will be a little bit better at cracking this one than I was 😂 If you think you do know the answer, post it in our forum here. If you get the answer correct you will earn yourself a shoutout in tomorrow’s newsletter. Honestly, so much generosity coming from us this Monday, eh?
Any who, enough from us. What’s happening in the news across Australia and the world today?
-
If there is anything in this world that we love as much as coffee and chocolate it’s pancakes, and Aldi are having a $9.99 game-changing Pancake Tuesday tomorrow that you do not want to miss.
-
Speaking of Chocolate, Cadbury has released (probably) one of the greatest blocks of chocolate of all time. Walk, don’t run for this one choccy fans.
-
Woolies is making headlines this morning for their ‘Quiet Hour.’ If you get a little bit overwhelmed by your grocery shop, then this will be
perfect for you.
-
There is no worse feeling than when you can’t afford to pay for something or your card gets rejected. But this woman had the most heartwarming
experience at her local Aldi.
-
Macca’s responds to backlash: Fancy paying for a large chips but only getting a small serving in a large container?
-
Oh dear… In a pretty jaw dropping story one woman revealed she donated her kidney to her partner and he broke her heart only a few months later.
-
Aldi and Coles to the rescue: Who here is always on the lookout for low-calorie, tasty but affordable food? Well, look no further because this Aldi and Coles haul has you sorted.
-
Thousands of Aussies are at risk after the very popular ‘Cleaning and Organising Inspiration Australia’ Facebook group was hacked. Here’s what you need to look out for.
-
Can you remove coffee stains without any scrubbing? Well this new hack can and it uses a product you would never think to use…
-
The secret recipe to this award-winning, mouth watering Chocolate Mud Cake has finally been revealed, and we are off to the kitchen to whip it up immediately.
And that’s a wrap folks. Some pretty great stories there if you ask us 😉 but don’t go anywhere just yet, because we have a pretty tricky trivia question for you to start your week off with and a pretty damn breathtaking picture of the day.
Have a lovely Monday members and we’ll be back in your inbox tomorrow.
- Jonathan, Vella, Sean, James, Dan & Maddie.

Eating healthy nowadays is a tough job. It isn’t easy having to cook every meal, fresh food can be really expensive, and sometimes, we simply just do not have the time nor energy to dedicate to maintaining a healthy diet. If you can relate to this as much as we can, then we have some good news for you.
One health coach went on an Aldi and Coles haul to show us what meals and snacks you can grab from Aldi and Coles that are budget friendly, low-calorie and tasty - a combination we didn’t think existed! From Ice-cream, to pasta and even quesadillas, these are the food items you can keep an eye out for during your next grocery shop.

Compare Health Cover Now*
Three health insurance rate rises in the space of 18 months are what Aussies are being slapped with after a two year long global pandemic. Aussies were paying an average of $230.26 more for their health insurance after the 2021 price hikes. And now from 1 April 2022, a single person over the age of 65 will pay an additional average of about $75* more per year, with families paying an additional average of about $154* more per year.
What few people realise is that there are government rebates out there that could save you hundreds of dollars per year on your cover*. For eligible Aussies, the starting cost of a combined hospital & extras policy comes in at under $23 / week (or $3.22 per day) once the rebate has been claimed.
See if you're eligible for the latest government rebates to get health insurance from under $23 a week.
