Se destaca el curso regional de comunicación en salud y producción comunicativa digital con enfoques de género e interculturalidad, dirigido a comunicadores de estas organizaciones, y que contó con la asesoría de la Unidad de Equidad, Género y Diversidad Cultural de la sede. IMPACTO: La iniciativa virtual tuvo un alcance regional que seguirá fortaleciendo el desarrollo de capacidades del personal de OPS/OMS en competencias para narrativas hipermedias, con énfasis en los gestores de nuestra cooperación técnica. PAHO/WHO CC for Training and Community Mental Health ACTIVITIES: The Department of Psychiatry in the School of Medicine at Loma Linda University, referred to as the “CC,” has carried out a significant activity through the active support of PAHO/WHO's training in Problem Management Plus (PM+). Developed by WHO, PM+ is a brief psychological intervention tailored for adults in distress due to adversity in their communities ... IMPACT: With PAHO/WHO's support, Jamaica trained seven Master Trainers between November 2021 and January 2022. This led to the training of thirty-five supervisors, who further trained eighty-five providers by February 2023 ... CC InstitutionsThere are six PAHO/WHO CCs focused on Mental Health.
