Extension of TBG’s Board Chair tenureWe’re delighted that Eamon McGoldrick’s tenure as TBG Board Chair has been extended for another year. Since 2019, he has been a steadfast champion for our residents, colleagues and strategic priorities. With over 40 years’ experience in housing, Eamon’s insight and guidance continue to strengthen TBG’s progress. His reappointment ensures continuity and ambition as we build on the positive foundations already in place. Eamon said “It is a privilege to be asked to serve another year as TBG Chair. I am very proud of the work done by all staff in The Barnet Group. They are making a real difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in our community. "Our governance arrangements are in a good place and for that I want to thank my fellow Board members and the Council for their support during these challenging times.”

The next Opendoor Homes virtual meeting will be held on Thursday 28 May 6.30pm - 8.00pm

I want to create the best entrance space for where I live to brighten everyone’s day. I particularly like the end result and people’s comments, especially if they’re favourable! Get ready for our Finest Flowers 2026 Competition! Finest Flowers is our annual gardening competition for all our residents. Happy gardening and good luck!

Opendoor Homes Perception Satisfaction Results 2025/26The Regulator of Social Housing’s Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) came into effect in April 2023. The TSMs are intended to help tenants to hold their landlords to account in areas that are important to them. There are 22 mandatory TSMs, 12 of which are based on perception surveys with a sample of tenants. For 2025-26 we re-commissioned an independent company to complete perception surveys with Opendoor Homes tenants. Below shows the 2025/26 scores for the perception TSMs. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete a survey and give feedback about Opendoor Homes.
