Sheikh Abdullah Joins President Trump in First Board of Peace Meeting

Pledges Additional $1.2 Billion to Support Gaza

At the inaugural Board of Peace meeting in Washington, UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed committed an additional $1.2 billion to support Gaza.

Sheikh Abdullah commended President Trump and US officials for their partnership and support for long-term stability in the region. He highlighted the UAE’s work with the US and international partners to advance peace and reconstruction.

As Gaza’s largest humanitarian donor since 2023, the UAE’s latest pledge adds to nearly $3 billion in total aid delivered to date —  45% of all international assistance to the Strip.

Sheikh Abdullah’s participation in the meeting came at the start of a working visit to the United States, reflecting the depth of the strategic UAE-US partnership.
