Monday Edition
Happy Monday, members! My, oh, my, isn’t an extra long weekend just lovely? There’s nothing quite like a relaxing Monday morning, that’s for sure. How has your Easter been so far? Have you gotten up to anything interesting? I’d (Maddie) love to hear all about it - regardless of whether you did something extra exciting or relaxed at home - tell me all about it here on the forum. What did I do, you might be wondering? Well aside from eating copious amounts of chocolate at home, I was lucky enough to have a beautiful family
lunch yesterday. Now, I want to take a moment to acknowledge that I know not everyone is as lucky and can do a family lunch for whatever reason, but that’s also why I’m in your inbox everyday. I don’t want you to feel like you’re alone, because you aren’t. The Seniors Discount Club was built to connect Australians over the age of 60 across the country. We built this community with the intention that everyday, especially on days like today, you feel like you have someone to talk to. So, don’t be afraid to post on the forum, spark up a conversation with a stranger, or even just message me. I promise, I don’t bite! 😉 And neither do any of my wonderful teammates, so never be afraid to reach out to one of us. We are always up for a chat!
Regardless of it being ‘Easter Monday’, it’s still a Monday so we still have our first riddle of the week! Now, a friendly reminder that we won’t be announcing the riddle masters in tomorrow’s newsletter because the team doesn’t come back to work until tomorrow BUT you should still have a crack at the riddle, because I will too and it’s good for us! Today’s riddle goes…
In what year did Christmas Day and New Year's Day fall in the same year?
My goodness, I think I'm going to be here all day trying to work out the correct answer. Do you think you know it? Well, don’t be shy! Post your answer here on our forum here, and if you get it correct well then you’re just going to have to give yourself a good ol’ pat on the back until the rest of the team is back tomorrow!
Oh, and don't forget to play our newest game: SDC Bingo! Today's numbers are G60, N32, and N34. Remember, you need an account on the forum to join, so if you don't have one already, register here!
