Saturday Edition
Hey, hey, it's Saturday! How are all our lovely members feeling today? Whew, what a week it's been! Have you achieved the things you set out to do? If not, don't worry, there's always tomorrow. Now, you get to enjoy a well-deserved weekend! I (Vella) have been feeling under the weather today, so I think I'll be spending my weekend catching up on some much-needed rest. We all deserve a break now and then, don't you think?
Do you know what else you deserve? A fantastic and informative newsletter! And that’s exactly what we have in store for you today. So without further ado, let’s jump right in! First things first, it’s time to reveal the answer to yesterday’s riddle. Let's refresh our memory, shall we?
How many times can you subtract 6 from 36?
The answer is only once! Why? Because after you subtract 6 from 36, you're left with 30. After the first subtraction, you no longer have 36! Now, that's a tricky one, eh? Did you get it right? If so, make sure to head down to the bottom of the newsletter, where you'll find a shout-out just for you!
Now, let's move on to today's segment, 'What Would the Grandkids Say?' Today, we are taking a look at the term 'gagging'. Kids use this term when they witness something so good or amazing they're at a loss for words. In other words, they're so surprised or shocked that they can't speak. For example, if your grandkid wore an incredible outfit; all their friends could be gagging in awe. How funny is that?
Oh, and before we get into the news, we wanted to share the results of our 'Your Say Sunday' poll last week. We asked you which years of your life were the
happiest. This one surprised us a little! 144 took on the task of voting for the happiest years of your life, and the winner with 29.2% of votes is… 30s! So it seems like most of you are happiest when you're a little older and wiser! So it seems like most of you are happiest when you're a little older and wiser!
