As mentioned in previous updates, I remain focused on advancing key priorities that contribute to a more equitable, impactful and sustainable NDIS.I would like to share that Onemda’s Innovation and Research team has launched our Transform Lives fundraising campaign this End of Financial Year. Your donations will help fund sensory spaces and assistive technology for people with disability. Contributions made before June 30 are tax-deductible. More information can be found in the newsletter below, we would love your support. In exciting news, due to strong demand from families, we will be running our Xtend after-hours program on Tuesday nights at our Doncaster East campus. Our Thursday afternoon sessions will continue as usual. We encourage you to speak with your campus coordinator to learn more and secure a spot. Planning is also underway to expand the Xtend program to additional campuses, so stay tuned for more updates as we continue growing this great service. Transform Lives This End of Financial Year There’s still time to support Onemda’s End of Financial Year Fundraiser, helping us bring more Assistive Technology and Sensory Spaces to life across our campuses. These tools play a vital role in supporting emotional wellbeing, communication and independence for people with intellectual disability. All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible, so it’s a great way to make a lasting impact and claim a deduction before June 30. Together, we can create more inclusive, supportive and empowering environments for our participants. Other InformationSession Fees Increase and Billing Changes Please be aware of important upcoming changes to Session Fees and Billing Changes. As a friendly reminder, please keep in mind to expect NDIS price increases from 1st July 2025. In addition, Session Fees will increase from $9.25 to $9.50 and is effective from July 2025. They will be reflected in the monthly invoice. Please note a recent update to our Billing Queries and Correspondence. Listen To Me Project - Feedback Wanted The Macquarie University "Listen to Me" project has coproduced a Patient Reported Experience Measure (PREM) to make it easier for people with intellectual disability to give feedback about their health care. It is designed to use in any health care setting across Australia.
