Media Cube Newsletter March 2023

Welcome to the first newsletter of 2023!
The Media Cube waves goodbye this month to Hyph (formally known as Xhail) as they depart the Media Cube to move on to pastures new in Leopardstown to accommodate their growing team. Xhail came to the Media Cube in 2016 and grew to occupy five office spaces at the Cube. This is a fantastic success story for IADT and the Media Cube as the growth of the company over the past few years, whilst resident at IADT Media Cube, has been exponential. During their time with us they have employed many IADT interns, in particular from the creative music production course, 7 of whom are now on full-time staff. Read all about how they have scaled in our article.
The internship programme continues to be of great success and we have 15 interns placed at the Media Cube at the time of writing from the department of entrepreneurship and the department of technology and psychology. We are featuring this month an article from one of those interns now working with Capella, hybrid working software and hotdesk booking system. The collaboration of IADT students with Media Cube clients has been evidently beneficial to both companies and students alike and is one of the many aspects that differentiates the Media Cube as an on-campus incubator.
