Tuesday Edition
Good morning, members, and welcome to another wonderful Tuesday morning! How are we all feeling today? I (Vella) am feeling excited. Why? Someone very special is celebrating their birthday today! Our lovely team member, Sethia, is turning a year older today, and I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish her a very happy birthday!
If a box full of chocolates was a person, it would be Sethia. She’s one of the sweetest and most kind-hearted people I know, and I feel so lucky to have her as a friend. She’s always got a kind word to say and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Having her around just makes life more enjoyable and a little bit sweeter. I know this is a bit of a cheesy way to start the day, but I just wanted to let her know how much she means to me and how grateful I am to have her in my life. So, Sethia, I hope you get absolutely spoilt today because you deserve it! 🙂
Members, please don’t forget to wish Sethia a very happy birthday.
Now, let’s move on to the answer to yesterday’s riddle.

Do you remember getting free milk at school? It was introduced by the Australian government in the 1950s to ensure that all Australian children got fresh milk and a good dose of calcium each day. However, in practice, there were a few problems. The truck delivering the milk crates would normally drop it off at around 9:30 am, but recess wasn’t until 10:45 am, so on hot days, the milk would go off. No refrigeration was available, and yet the teachers made you drink the milk, off or not. The program lasted until the early 70s and was eventually scrapped. What are your memories of free school milk? Share it with us on our forum here.
