We've been hard at work on the next major version of Wicked Folders and I'm excited to share some new features. These features will be available in version 3 which we're planning to release this month.

Bulk Delete

Using the new Bulk Select organization mode, folders can now be deleted in bulk. No more needing to delete one folder at a time.

New ‘View Others’ Items’ Permission

With the new ‘View Others’ Items’ permission, you can now control which roles can see content from other users. When the permission is turned off, users can only see media files they've uploaded (or pages, posts, etc. that they've created).

REST API

We've added REST API endpoints that can be used to read, update, clone, and delete folders.

In addition to these new features, we've modernized much of the codebase to make adding new features easier.
