Thursday Edition
Good morning members and happy Thursday! How is the weather in your suburb this morning? If you live on the east coast, you've had a very wet week, and we're hoping the worst is over. If you live in a flood-prone area, please stay safe and keep an eye on each other during these trying times. Always know that you are in our thoughts, and if you need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to contact us by clicking here.
Now, we have the answer to yesterday’s riddle. Here is a quick refresher of what it was!
I am in a house that is perfectly square. There is a single window on each of its four walls. Each window faces south. As I gaze out of a window, a bear walks past. What colour is the bear?
Well? To be honest, we had no idea the house was in the North Pole, which means the bear is a polar bear, so the bear is white! We really thought this one would have you all stumped, but alas, a lot of you got the answer correct. And you know what that means, right members? A correct answer earns a shoutout! So stick around, and you’ll spot a shoutout with your name on it! Congratulations.
Next, as we do every Thursday, it’s time to share with you a fascinating fact!
If you think that all cows’ moo sounds the same, you’d be mistaken! It turns out that cows moo in regional accents! How cow’d it be? (Sorry, we had to) Yes, cows actually sound like where they’re from. Language experts have suggested that cows, like humans, have regional accents. According to the BBC, dairy farmers discovered this phenomenon when they noticed that their cows had different moos depending on what herd they came from. How interesting is that?
Well then let’s moo-ve onto the news then shall we? What’s happening in Australia and around the world today?

Remember when we used the backyard incinerator to burn things we didn't want? Every household had one. Who here remembers their father burning anything he could get his hands on every Sunday morning: chop bones, the kids' art project, and the leftovers from Friday night's dinner. This was great back in the day as it reduced landfill waste, but it was harmful to the environment, so it was banned in the 1980s.

"No," said her husband.
She gave him a sexy little smile, unbuttoned the top three buttons of her blouse, slowly reached down into the cleavage created by a soft, silky push-up bra, and pulled out a crumpled twenty dollar note.
