Do you remember when driver's licences looked like this? Unlike the modern plastic licences that include a photo ID, back in the day, it was just a slip of paper that had to be renewed annually. They also cost a mere 10 shillings! You had to do a driving test and answer twelve questions on a test paper. Those were the days, eh? Do you remember getting your first driver's licence? It’s no secret that the current cost of living is hurting us all, and we need to find ways to ‘cut the fat’ wherever we can. But did you know that in 2023, the cost of health insurance increased by an average of $167* for Aussies over 65 who weren't with one of the 'big 5 funds'?
