The GPA appoints new FM delivery contracts

We have officially announced our new facilities management contracts as part our WSTP. Hard FM services will be delivered by ISS and AtalianServest, and soft FM services will be delivered by AtalianServest, ISS and Mitie.

Our new Client Relationship Management tool

Last month we successfully launched Salesforce, our cloud-based client relationship management software solution, to our people. We are now moving onto our next phase which will enable us to use Salesforce as a collaboration platform with you.

Clients and customers at the centre of our Business Plan

We have published our 2023/24 Business Plan which continues to build on the substantial changes we made in 2022/23. Our target for this year is to focus on consolidating and embedding excellent customer service and prioritising our people, our systems and processes, our commercial and local authority partners, and our stakeholders and clients.

Government of Singapore visits the GPA’s Hubs for insights and inspiration

The GPA completes office refurb in South Colonnade

We have successfully completed our refurbishment of the fifth floor at 10 South Colonnade in London. The new design focuses on a balance of formal and informal spaces with refreshment hubs, meeting rooms, do not disturb rooms and mixed usage pods.

Refurbishing disused retail and commercial space in Birmingham city centre

Our Birmingham Hub was refurbished from disused retail space to create modern, digitally-connected and inclusive workspaces which are nurturing greater productivity, creating cost efficiencies and enhancing carbon reduction. More than 1,700 civil servants from across 20 government departments now work from the Hub, supporting regional growth and contributing towards revitalising the city centre.

Our newly refurbed site in Stoke-on-Trent opens 

At the end of June we completed our office refurbishment of the UK Home Office hub at Two Smithfield in Stoke-on-Trent. It will be home to a new National Asylum Customer Communications Hub, which has created 500 local jobs. Home Secretary Suella Braverman opened the site.

We became the sixth organisation to join the Better Buildings Partnership (BBP) this year, and are among just 54 leading property owners showing their commitment to improving sustainability across commercial buildings.

GPA signs two new strategic partners to the strategic partner charter

Our newest strategic partners JLL and BNP Paribas Real Estate signed our strategic partner charter. The charter exists to set out how we work collaboratively with the private sector by adopting strategic supplier relationship management for clients. 

Our latest appointments will enhance our service offering and enable us to meet expectations to deliver better business outcomes and value for money in our work. Through signing the charter our strategic partners work with us to deliver an enhanced client experience by exploring innovative ways of working, to create great places to work which our customers value working in.

GovPrint: simpler, cheaper, greener and secure

We continue to roll out GovPrint across our portfolio. The service is providing easy printing, copying and scanning, driving cost savings for government departments and simplifying the management of traditional print contracts.

The GPA showcases thought leadership at the Workplace Trends conference

On Wednesday 18 October our Workplace Experience team will be speaking at the Workplace Trends conference. Our panel will cover 'Workplace Communities and Networks', taking a look at the importance of networks and what you could be doing to build them in your workplace.

Attendees will hear some of our rich insights, data and real life case studies and have the opportunity to get under the skin of how communities and networks within our workplaces can directly impact workplace experiences, for the better.

You can join the event online, or in person at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London.
