Headteacher update
Dear Parents & Carers,
The last newsletter of 2023, I can’t believe it the year has gone so quickly!
I hope you all have a lovely and enjoyable festive period.
Our Christmas Fun Day event was a brilliant success, and a great way to celebrate the end of another successful term here at FHHS.
We had pupils performing through singing and dance, our own Santa Claus and elves in the Christmas Grotto, and many stalls with Christmas gifts made by our pupils to raise funds for three charities.
I would like to say a big thank you to the parents who set up the Christmas Grotto, to all the pupils and staff who made the event a success and to the parents and friends who came to share the festive celebrations with us.
I hope you all enjoyed the day as much was we did.

Lastly, we look forward to welcoming pupils back to school on Wednesday 03 January 2024.

Chair update
It was a great pleasure for me to spend time in school last week and to see first hand all of the great work that the staff and pupils are doing, as well as confirming that eveything was in place from a Safer
Recruitment and Safeguarding perspective.
I do hope that you were able to join in with the festive events and Christmas celebrations within our community this week.
It only remains for me to thank Thereza de Lucca the Headteacher and her staff for all their hard work on behalf of our school, and to wish you all - pupils, parents and carers and school staff alike - a joyous and peaceful Christmas. Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
