Saturday Edition
Good morning members and happy Saturday! Oh, how we love Saturdays. Not only because it's the weekend and we get to spend time with family and friends, but also because we have a jam-packed newsletter for you all! So make yourself comfortable, and maybe get yourself a cuppa and a cheeky bikkie, because it's time to dive into today's activities!
To start things off, let’s dig into the answer to yesterday’s riddle! So what was it again?
There is a white house within a green house. There is a red house within a white house. Inside the red house, there are many babies. What am I?
Did you get it? The answer is a watermelon! So the white, green, and red houses are the layers of the watermelon, and the babies are the seeds! It turns out that a fair few of you knew this one! So, if you got it correct, you'll find a shoutout waiting for you at the bottom of this newsletter!
Now onto our next segment for the day, ‘What Would the Grandkids Say.’ Today we’re taking a look at the phrase 'Caught in 4k.' Being caught in 4K means being caught red-handed doing something where the evidence is crystal clear. 4K refers to 4000 resolution, which is the resolution used by TV/cinematography and is considered high-quality video. So, if you say you caught someone in 4K, it means you either saw them do something with your own eyes or recorded a video of them doing something and have clear proof. So the next time your grandchild denies something, you can tell them there's no point in denying it because you caught
them in 4K!
So what's happening across Australia and the world today?

Remember when your mum or nana would rub Vicks VapoRub on your chest or put a dab under your nose to help treat colds? This was a staple in our home medicine cupboard. Our parents used it for everything: coughs and colds, wounds, stuffy noses, sore throat, you name it. Who still uses this?
