Dear colleagues and friends, Stefan Gies, AEC Chief Executive On 18 January, the European Commission submitted its proposal for a European Strategy for Universities to the European Parliament, where attention is also drawn to the significance of the Erasmus+ European Universities initiative. The AEC Office team has substantially changed in January 2022. Meet the new team members Beatriz and Konstantinos! AEC presented the results of the first HarMA+ Dissemination event, organised in the frame of the AEC Annual Congress and General Assembly 2021 in Antwerp, Belgium. The discussions at the upcoming PRIhME (Power Relations in Higher Music Education) Stakeholder Assembly will be based on the expert paper by Cecilia Ferm Almqvist and Ann Werner. AEC’s partner organisation MusiQuE is glad to announce the webinar ‘Balancing internal quality assurance and external quality assurance – experiences from higher music education institutions’. The third edition of Genus will take place in Malmö on 14-15 March.
