NEWS UPDATE28 October 2022 Publishers noteThis was one heck of a week. To understand why it was, I must explain last week. News from our industry last week was somewhat subdued. Don’t get me wrong, we still had plenty to deliver a week’s worth of good news reading. This week, something happened. The news rolled in, from far and wide, and apart from a few rogue, non-relevant stories, we were able to publish most of them. Since our last newsletter we have posted 32 news stories, plus a further three early this morning to kick the day off. The subject matter is broad and intended to keep our readers interested. This newsletter carries only fourteen of these stories and we urge you to visit our website to read more. Our friend Michelle Lee has been chatty again and shared some perspective on what she is doing and how she is feeling. That said, a week is a long time on the water and her positive tone somewhat dour last night having had a couple of rough days. This despite the fact that she was about to hit a milestone and cross the 4,000 nautical mile (7,400 km) mark. Congratulations to industry stalwart Alistair Murray AM announced as the new President of Australian Sailing.
