Good morning
Good morning, ladies and gents! I (Maddie) am in such a great mood this morning because the SDC team is back together for another year and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely adore our team and our community and I cannot thank you all enough for making this a reality for me. This doesn’t really feel like ‘work’ because I get to speak to wonderful people like yourself every day and I get to work with a remarkable team that are also dear friends. And this is made possible for me because of each and every one of you.
So, thank you for supporting us and making the Seniors Discount Club what it is. We have so many exciting things to introduce to you all this year and we are hoping 2024 is our biggest year yet!

Yesterday's Australia
The Christmas when Santa got arrested…

Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ is the final Christmas memory we will be sharing so I have made sure we are ending on a hilarious note. A big thank you to member @1mcdonaj for sharing this memory with us! ‘My father had arranged for one of his work colleagues to dress up as Santa and climb the two flights of external stairs up to our large second floor concrete sundeck. My parents would ensure I was at the lounge room window just at the right time to see Santa come up the stairs and onto the deck. After I’d had a good look at Santa, I’d have to go straight to bed so Santa could come inside and put the presents around the tree.
Everything was going to plan when…’ Oh you have to read the rest of member @1mcdonaj's memory here. It’s guaranteed to make you laugh! If you have a nostalgic memory you’d like to share, post it on our forum here.

Little Willy Wagtail with her babies…
Isn’t this photograph just gorgeous? The mother looks so on alert and protective of her little babies who are so young and small, they can barely see! I don’t think I have ever seen such a beautiful, close-up shot of a little willy wagtail with its babies. Have you? Or maybe you’ve been lucky enough to see this with your own eyes? I cannot thank member @terrie 1 enough for sharing this photo with us all! If you have a photo you’d also like to share, post it on the forum here!
