Dear Friends, Supporters and Students,

It is with great excitement that we unveil our bold step forward: Epicurean Charitable Foundation is now Hospitality Charitable Foundation.

Alongside this announcement, we proudly unveil a new logo a symbol of our renewed purpose and our steadfast belief in the power of education and mentorship.

Our new mission is simple in its essence, yet profound in its impact: Our mission is: to provide scholarship and mentorship to students from hospitality industry leaders resulting in lifetime relationships and opportunities.

But our vision extends far beyond the confines of scholarship and mentorship. Our vision: We change the trajectory of students' lives.

The HCF board has taken a good deal of time during the last few months accepting scholarship applications, reading essays and sitting down to interview hopeful candidates. After extensive and careful deliberation, we recently decided to award seven scholarships to local Clark County high school students. Please join us in congratulating Lazaro Cabrera Current UNLV Student, Michael Chavez Legacy High School, Fatima Garcia Avelar Desert Pines, Isabelle Gates Northwest Career Technical Academy, Eliana Mendoza Northwest Career Technical Academy Class, Sebastian Mondala Southwest Career Technical Academy, Gregory Haley Southwest Career Technical Academy. More about each of the newest HCF scholars is shared below.

It was a gorgeous day for HCF’s 9th Annual Golf Tournament at Canyon Gate Country Club. Golfers started the morning off with coffee from Sambalatte Torrefazione and a Bloody Mary from Tito’s Vodka and Sysco. The day included drinks from 805, Firestone Walker, Johnson Brothers of Nevada, Whiskey Liquor Up, Chicago Brewing Company, Bacardi, Cazadores, Browned Butter Bottling, Boston Beer, Truly, Twisted Tea, Angry Orchard, Proximo, Beam-Makers Mark, Ketel One, Molson Coors, and Tito’s Vodka. And special treats from Pink Box, Top Golf and Encore. On course boxed lunches were generously be provided by Sysco. We also had support from our awesome hole sponsors: Jaguar/Land Rover Las Vegas, Siegel Group, Encore, Pepsi, Sysco & Tao Group.

Whether seeking to pursue careers in culinary arts or hospitality, the dreams of our deserving students are our No. 1 priority, and we are continually working toward providing the best possible resource for those dreams to come true. It is thanks to the generous support from our sponsors, donors, partners, and board that our actions are possible, and for that we thank you. As always, you can keep up to date with everything HCF at https://www.hcflv.org/ or by following on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
