We’re looking for those individuals who continue to make a difference in our Council. Do you know someone who contributes to our community and motivates those around them? These individuals could be a volunteer, an advocate, an entrepreneur, a researcher, a sporting legend, a community all-rounder … the list could go on! This is your chance to amplify someone’s story and contributions by nominating them for:

Nominating is as easy as answering who they are, what they’ve achieved and why you’d like to see them recognised. Meet Our Neighbours, theMount Barker Community CentreMount Barker Community Centre is a not-for-profit, independent organisation located in the heart of Mount Barker, right next to the library. The Community Centre offers local community members opportunities to connect with each other through a variety of responsive and inclusive programs, events and volunteer roles across the region. Activities include; yoga, over 50's exercise, family programs, art classes, basic computing, crafts, ukelele class and more! Programs include; a community garden, a men's shed, childcare, and the 'Revamp' shop.
