Friday Edition
Good morning, members, and welcome to another fabulous Friday! Whew, this week has flown by! We are getting closer and closer to Christmas, can you believe it? Who's doing their shopping early this year? I (Vella) might start making a list soon and take advantage of some sales! I know it’s early but I dread the thought of doing it all last minute during the holiday rush. If you're like me and like to get a head start, or if you're just looking for ideas, make sure to check out our deals below.
Anyway, let’s get straight into the good stuff, shall we? As usual, we have the third and final riddle for the week…
What do you throw out when you want to use it but take in when you don’t?
Ooh, how's that for a brain teaser? If you think you know the answer, head over to the riddle masters thread here. If you get the answer correct, then we will give you a shout-out in tomorrow’s newsletter! Not too shabby, eh?
Oh, and before we get into today’s stories, we just wanted to remind you to check out this week’s Coles Best Buys. There are some fantastic deals in there!

Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment is thanks to our lovely member @ATDuffy. They posted a few fond childhood memories, and this one is our favourite. ‘We didn’t own computers, tablets or gaming equipment. What we had was so much better - FRESH AIR. We had a huge bush area across the road from our house. We would wake up in the morning, eat our breakfast and meet all the neighbourhood kids in the bush. Some days we wouldn’t return home until just before dark. We would be busy building forts and cubby houses. You’d be busy looking for
broken branches and anything to use to dig out the sand.’
Awww, such happy memories! We can just imagine the laughter and fun @ATDuffy and their friends must have had. This sounds like mischief at its finest. Thank you for sharing your beautiful memories with us, @ATDuffy!
