Summer In the Sun: Amiera BlackThe summer of 2024 was a busy one for Amiera Black, a grade 12 student at St. Michael’s Catholic Secondary School in Stratford. Spotlight: Matt PhillipsAs a network, we want to promote and celebrate champions of inclusion who make our communities inclusive spaces for people of all abilities. In this edition, we are featuring Matt Phillips, Kitchen Manager at Montana’s Restaurant in Stratford. Connect With Our CommunityBeing in places and spaces where our community naturally thrives is a great way to build relationships. Our team of families have put together a LIVE community calendar to help your family get connected and have fun doing it! Check back frequently as this calendar is constantly being updated as we become aware of new events. Active planning and intentional discussions with your support circle are critical. Featured Resource:While far too many people wait for basic supports, we can help our loved ones to build a good life for themselves by putting a plan in place.
